When Caitlin contacted us about photographing her family, we were excited but instantly got nervous. We first met Caitlin at the preschool where she was our manager but she definitely didn’t have the mean ‘boss lady’ demeanor. Her kindness was such a treat to have as a leader which brought us to be friends. So for us, there is so much joy in photographing for someone you know, but there is also that factor of “I know them…”

Caitlin and Kris wanted to have a session that was partially inside and partially outside. They had the idea of going to the Museum of Florida History, right downtown, and we thought it was a great idea! Although Shannon is from Tallahassee and Rachael has practically lived here her whole life, we both didn’t know anything about the museum. It was definitely a learning moment for us!

Not only are Caitlin and Kris so cute together, they have the most precious little girl! She is a very active little one and these photos grasped just that! From flipping upside down, to scooting across the floor, and climbing all over her daddy’s lap! We loved to see their little family walk through the museum and to catch the love that Caitlin and Kris have towards their baby girl. It was truly a family moment!
